יוֹמָם הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ לֹא יַכֶּכָּה | Yomam hashemesh lo yakeka | 6. The sun shall not strike you by day | |
וְיָרֵחַ בַּלָּיְלָה | V’yareach balaila | nor the moon by night | |
יְהֹוָה יִשְׁמָרְךָ מִכָּל רָע | Yehovah yishmorkha mikol ra | 7. Yehovah will keep you from all evil | |
יִשְׁמֹר אֶת נַפְשֶׁךָ | Yishmor et nafshekha | he will keep your life | |
יְהֹוָה יִשְׁמָר צֵאתְךָ | Yehovah yishmor tse’atkha | 8. Yehovah will keep your going out | |
וּבוֹאֶךָ מֵעַתָּה וְעַד עוֹלָם | Uvo’ekha me’ata vad olam | and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore |
